To those who don't know [and are interested to know], I was baited by Jun into the sparkly realm of Arashi [I'll write about my Arashi story soon!]. However, as I got deeper into this rainbow-filled world, I fell in love with the smallest, sleepy-faced baby boy known to us as Ohno Satoshi. And although I must say that I still adore MatsuJun [Even when he quacks! Have you seen a duck as fabulous as he is, with his really colorful plumage?] and I always smile when I read articles about him sharing his thoughts on people, the self as an individual and as part of society, relationships and the world, I have to admit that there are times when I pay attention to the other four more [And suprisingly, the one who captures my attention is the one who doesn't even talk. It's the silent ones that really get me].
Watching the subbed second part of Arashi at TFPII [thanks
stormy_team], though, and hearing Jun say that he loves the Beatles made me go
♥_♥ . I have read Jun mention in some articles and heard him say in his radio show that he listens to the Beatles [and to Jack Johnson, too] a lot. But to see him and hear him say it made me very, very
HAPPY.One of the very important things a person
should know about me is this: I LOVE THE BEATLES. My parents used to play Beatles songs almost all the time when I was little. My family and I love them [especially me and my brother Melvin]. Oh and trivia if you haven't noticed yet: my journal title and subtitle are from an album and a song by the Beatles, respectively.
But, no, I won't be able to tell you their birth dates if you ask me when I've just woken up. *thinks* Actually, I don't even know their birthdates. But you can mention a line from a Beatles song and I'll be able to sing the song to you. There are mornings when the first lines ringing in my head would be "I dig a pygmy by Charles Hawtry and the Deaf Aids. Phase one in which Doris gets her oats!" I love it when that happens. :D As I've said to
tomemiprozac , I might never find any other artist that may affect me as much as they have. And I'm looking forward to the day when I can go on an Abbey Road tour, visiting places the Beatles used to frequent. I'd really like to go home, buy a turntable and play our Beatle records. *sigh*

If Arashi were songs by the Beatles:
From the top of my head
Sho - Eleanor Rigby, Mother Nature's Son, I've Just Seen a Face
Kazunari - Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Blackbird
Masaki - Obladi-oblada, Yellow Submarine
Jun - Golden Slumbers/ Carry that Weight/ The End, In My Life
Satoshi - Because, Across the Universe
ARASHI - Penny Lane, The Word, Twist and Shout
I wonder if Jun likes I am the Walrus.
